About Me
My journey into deep pet companionship really solidified seven years ago with Kody, my bichon doodle mix. He’s a little guy who completely defies dog logic—acting much more like a cat than a dog—and he taught me early on how to appreciate and adapt to each animal's unique quirks.
When I graduated high school in 2022, I knew I wanted to channel my lifelong love for animals into something official. Though I had plenty of experience caring for pets well before then, graduation gave me the perfect opportunity to dive headfirst into professional pet care.
Over the last four years, I’ve expanded my skills to include everything from daily walks and drop-in visits to overnight stays. I’ve had the pleasure of working with pets of all shapes and sizes—from standard cats and dogs to hamsters, rabbits, and even a lizard! Along the way, I’ve also become highly proficient in specialized care, including administering oral medications by pill or syringe, ensuring that even the most sensitive pets are safe and comfortable.
Now, as a college student, balancing my studies with pet care gives me a true sense of purpose and joy. That passion for building authentic connections with all kinds of animals eventually led me to //JON LOVES DOGS—where I get to bring the same adaptability, dedication, and love to your pets that I give to my own.
