About Me
With a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a full-time career as a 9-1-1 operator, I am no stranger to staying calm, attentive, and dedicated under pressure. But caring for animals has always held a truly special place in my heart, providing a joyful balance to my daily life. At home, I’m a proud pet parent to Kermit, my wonderful Boston Terrier, alongside my extended family pack—Juno, a German Shepherd mix, and Larry, an orange tabby cat.
My professional journey into animal care spans over five years, including hands-on work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, as well as client services at two veterinary practices. It was during my most recent veterinary role that I earned my Fear Free certification. This specialized training profoundly shaped my approach, teaching me how to incorporate patience and compassion to minimize stress, build trust, and deeply respect each pet’s individual boundaries and comfort levels.
Whether I’m keeping a senior pet company, playing with an energetic puppy, or taking a little extra time to reassure an anxious animal, my goal is to make every interaction as calm and enjoyable as possible. I know exactly how much trust it takes to leave your beloved furry family members in someone else's hands. That commitment to providing personalized, stress-free care is exactly what brought me to //JON LOVES DOGS—where I am thrilled to bring that blend of specialized safety, steady presence, and genuine love to your pets whenever you’re away.
