About Me

For me, the best part of pet care is found in the quiet moments of connection. Every dog and cat has a completely distinct personality, and I’ve always loved taking the time to observe and understand exactly what each individual animal needs to feel safe, understood, and happy.

My journey into professional animal care began right in my own neighborhood, providing reliable walking and pet-sitting for local families. Wanting to understand every facet of a pet's well-being, I began volunteering at the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, and that experience truly deepened my purpose. Working with rescue animals taught me the invaluable art of patience, showing me firsthand how much a calm, steady presence can comfort an anxious or shy animal.

That commitment to empathy and meticulous care is what naturally brought me to //JON LOVES DOGS. I love bringing that blend of shelter-tested patience, hands-on experience, and specialized safety to your pets, ensuring they get all the exercise, dedicated attention, and peaceful care they deserve.
